This jewelry is inspired by the fifth century Byzantine era, a culture known for its use of rich color and characterized by round arches, domes and intricate spires.

Pictured ( left ) is an example of inlaid Roman glass. These pieces are sterling silver with fragments of glass which date back to the Roman presence in the Middle East. The glass comes from archeological sites around the Mediterranean Sea and is set in sterling or 14 k gold.
